Web Development > Costs
We offer two methods of costing:
Time and Materials
You pay for the exact number
of man hours that we put into the project plus any additional material costs (for example,
if we needed to licence a product to complete your project that cost would be passed
on to you). The advantage of a time and materials approach is that the details
of the project can be worked out as development progresses rather than having to specify
the final requirement before work begins. The disadvantage is that the final cost and
completion date can only be estimated.
Fixed Fee
The project specification, the completion date and the fee
are agreed in advance. The advantage of a fixed fee approach is that the cost and
delivery date are known. The disadvantage is that any deviation from the agreed
specification will require a change request to be raised and an additional cost and
revised completion date to be agreed before work can continue.
